The Rocher des 3 Pucelles is located in the Vercors, above the old 1968 Olympic Games ski jump in Saint-Nizier-du-Moucherotte. It is a set of three needles that dominate Grenoble, offering a panoramic view of the Grésivaudan valley, the Chartreuse and Vercors massifs and the Taillefer.
These three peaks, more than 495 ft high, offer dizzying passages for a magnificent ridge course, with easy climbing, a zip line and a rappel down. It takes a 45-minute approach walk from the parking lot at the dead end of the springboard in Saint-Nizier-du-Moucherotte.
The itinerary begins with a 115 ft high abseiling down, then climbs up in a roped up mode on a ledge where we walk and easy climbing. A winding route will allow to find the weak lines and the easiest parts of climbing to reach the top of the main needle, from where the view is panoramic on Grenoble and the Bastille Via ferrata.
The passage from one needle to the other by a zipline installed previously by the guide is the highlight of this course!
